We are looking for a dental assistant to help us run accelerated hygiene (two patients per hour). In addition to seating and starting patients for the hygienist, you would also help with whitening patients and sterilization.
Applicants should be very comfortable using a computer. We use the latest in technology including digital scans for impressions, digital sensors, and intra-oral photos.
We treat all ages, but most of our patients are young adults.
The job duties will include, but not limited to:
1) Occasionally assisting chairside with all general dental procedures
2) Turning over rooms between patients and setting up for each new appointment
3) Helping with sterilization of instruments as well as maintaining a clean and orderly office.
4) Keeping track of supplies
5) Helping out at the front greeting patients, checking them out and answering phones
A second language is greatly appreciated, but not required
