Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, following established recipes and presentation standards
- Engage with guests to provide personalized recommendations and ensure an enjoyable experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Assist in training new team members on beverage preparation, POS operation, and customer service protocols
- Support bar management by opening or closing the venue, conducting inventory checks, and ensuring adherence to safety procedures
- Handle cash transactions accurately while managing sales records and performing basic math calculations for register balancing
Requirements
- Proven experience in bartending with expertise in cocktail creation, beverage recipe development, wine knowledge, and craft beer service
- Familiarity with POS systems including Toast and Heavy cash handling
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Basic math skills for retail math, cash handling, and sales transactions
