- Cleaning & Sanitation
- Clean resident apartments, including bathrooms, kitchens, and living spaces.
- Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize common areas, offices, and entryways.
- Clean carpets and hard-surface floors according to schedule.
- Empty trash from apartments, bathrooms, offices, and common spaces.
- Clean patios, courtyards, sidewalks, ashtrays, and entryways to maintain a neat appearance.
- Disinfect frequently touched surfaces in compliance with infection control standards.
- Follow established daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules for all areas of the community.
- Environmental Maintenance Support
- Maintain cleanliness of courtyard furniture and outdoor community spaces.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and chemical safety.
- Ability to safely lift, push, pull, and carry up to 40 pounds routinely.
- Must demonstrate patience, tact, and professionalism when interacting with residents, staff, and visitors.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Experience in housekeeping, environmental services, or custodial work, preferably in senior living or healthcare.
- Familiarity with OSHA cleaning guidelines and infection control procedures.
