Back Bay Gourmet is looking for an experienced Lead Line Cook who is passionate about quality, thrives in a fast-paced kitchen, and enjoys leading by example. Duties
- Lead daily line operations and ensure consistent, high-quality food execution
- Prep, cook, and plate menu items with attention to detail
- Supervise and mentor line cooks and kitchen team members
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards
- Assist with menu planning and recipe adherence to uphold the restaurant’s culinary standards
- Assist with inventory, prep planning and kitchen organization
We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Has previous line cook experience (lead or supervisory experience a plus)
- Works well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
- Takes pride in craftsmanship and consistency
- Has excellent food handling skills with knowledge of catering and fine dining standards
- Is reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Is able to motivate team members and manage kitchen workflow effectively
- Values a clean, organized kitchen
- Wants to be part of a growing restaurant concept with high standards and a supportive culture
