Key Responsibilities
As a 5-Axis CNC Operator you will:
- Set up and operate 3 anf 5-axis CNC machining centers to produce high-precision components
- Run production jobs while maintaining quality, efficiency, and consistency
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, models, and GD&T requirements
- Perform in-process inspections to ensure parts meet specifications
- Troubleshoot machining and setup issues on the floor
- Support new part introductions (NPI) and process validation
- Mentor and crosstrain operators on setups, best practices, and machining fundamentals
- Provide real-time guidance on the shop floor to improve performance and confidence
- Help standardize processes and promote consistency across operations
- Reinforce a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement
