Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Greet guests warmly, taking orders accurately while providing knowledgeable recommendations on drinks and menu items.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
- Manage cash handling and POS transactions efficiently using systems such as Micros POS to ensure accurate billing.
- Monitor guest behavior for safety purposes, intervening when necessary to uphold a secure environment.
- Restock bar supplies regularly, tracking inventory levels and communicating needs to management promptly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining or food service environments
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for efficient order processing and cash handling.
- Strong knowledge of beverage recipes, food safety standards, and responsible serving practices.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
- Ability to manage time effectively in high-volume settings while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of serving is a plus but not required
