$6 per hour + TIPS
Position Summary:
Hoosier Alley Entertainment is seeking outgoing, service-oriented Servers to deliver exceptional food and beverage experiences for our guests. This role combines high-volume service with entertainment flair in a fast-paced, fun environment. Whether you're slinging cocktails at the bar or delivering fan-favorite dishes to a lane or table, you’ll be a key player in creating memorable moments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive, friendly, and timely service to all guests in bar, dining, and entertainment areas.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with Indiana alcohol laws and company standards.
- Take food and drink orders accurately and input them into the POS system.
- Deliver food and beverages to guests in bowling lanes, dining areas, and event spaces.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar and dining area, including tables, counters, and service stations.
- Engage guests with enthusiasm, offering recommendations and upselling menu items when appropriate.
- Check guest identification to ensure minimum age requirements for consumption of alcoholic beverages.
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures, including cleaning and restocking duties.
- Assist in setting up, servicing, and breaking down private events and parties as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen, bar, and guest services team members to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Previous experience as a bartender or server in a high-volume restaurant or bar preferred.
- Strong knowledge of drink recipes and bar equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Must have or be able to obtain applicable alcohol server certification (e.g., Indiana ATC permit).
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
