About the Role
We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist to join our precision manufacturing team, focusing on the production of high-stakes components for the aerospace and medical sectors. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Fanuc-controlled turning centers to drive efficiency and quality from initial setup through final production runs.
Responsibilities-
Execute independent setups and operation of CNC turning centers to meet rigorous production schedules.

Achieve high-precision outcomes by maintaining tolerances as tight as +/- .0002 on complex aerospace parts.

Optimize production workflows by selecting appropriate tooling, fixtures, and raw materials for each project.

Interpret complex engineering blueprints and technical documentation to ensure exact part specifications.

Collaborate on first-article inspections to validate processes before full-scale production begins.

Perform real-time quality assurance using advanced metrology tools, including CMM equipment, micrometers, and precision gauges.

Proactively troubleshoot machining challenges, including offset adjustments and program refinements, to minimize downtime.
Qualifications-
5+ years of hands-on experience in independent CNC lathe setup and operation.

Advanced proficiency with Fanuc control systems.

Proven track record of manufacturing tight-tolerance components for aerospace or similar high-precision industries.

Expertise in blueprint reading and the application of precision measurement tools.

Physical capability to stand for extended shifts and lift up to 50 pounds.

Experience with multi-axis turning centers (2-4 axis).

Strong analytical mindset for complex problem-solving in a fast-paced shop environment.
