About the Opportunity
Express Healthcare Professionals is seeking an experienced Radiology Technologist for a well-established Women's Health practice in Nashville. This is a full-time opportunity for a compassionate, patient-focused imaging professional who enjoys working in an outpatient environment focused on providing exceptional care to women throughout all stages of life.
Position Summary
The Radiology Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and quality care. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have strong technical skills, and thrive in a collaborative clinical setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic radiology procedures according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging examinations.
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician review.
- Educate patients regarding imaging procedures and answer questions professionally.
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety and infection control standards.
- Document patient information accurately within electronic medical records.
- Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to support efficient patient care.
- Monitor imaging equipment and report maintenance concerns as needed.
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
QualificationsRequired
- Minimum 1 year of Radiology Technologist experience
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- Current ARRT certification
- Current Tennessee Radiologic Technologist license (or ability to obtain)
- Current BLS certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced outpatient setting
Preferred
- Experience in Women's Health, OB/GYN, outpatient imaging, or physician practice settings
- Mammography experience or certification
- Experience using EMR/EHR systems
