Who We Are
Hotel Jackson is a boutique luxury hotel on the Town Square in Jackson, Wyoming. We are independently owned, personally operated, and deeply invested in this place. Hospitality here isn’t transactional — it’s an act of genuine connection. We believe in warmth, authenticity, expertise, and the kind of care that makes guests feel truly at home.
Our mission is simple: We are here to host. That means anticipating needs, elevating every detail, and delivering impactful memorable moments.
The Role
We’re hiring a PM Laundry Attendant to own the laundry operation during the evening shift — processing, finishing, and organizing linens, towels, terry, and uniforms so that housekeeping has everything it needs to deliver a flawless guest experience the following morning.
This is a role for someone who takes quiet pride in doing precise work well. The laundry room is not a visible part of the guest experience — but what comes out of it is. When a guest pulls back the duvet or wraps themselves in a robe, that moment is yours.
What You’ll Own
- Washing and drying: process all soiled linens, towels, terry, and uniforms according to Hotel Jackson’s standards for temperature, product, and cycle — every load, every time.
- Finishing: fold, press, and finish all items to a precise standard; wrinkled or improperly finished linen does not leave the laundry room.
- Sorting and organization: sort incoming soiled items by category and maintain a clean, organized laundry room throughout the shift so the operation runs efficiently and nothing is lost or misrouted.
- Par level awareness: monitor linen and terry inventory throughout the shift and flag shortages to housekeeping leadership before they become a problem for the morning team.
- Uniform care: process team uniforms with the same attention to detail as guest-facing items; the team’s appearance reflects the hotel’s standard.
- Equipment maintenance: operate washers, dryers, and pressing equipment correctly and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs immediately — downtime in the laundry has a direct impact on operations.
- Chemical safety: handle all laundry chemicals and cleaning products in compliance with safety protocols; label, store, and use them correctly at all times.
- Cleanliness: maintain a clean, organized, and safe laundry room throughout the shift and leave it ready for the team that follows.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous laundry, housekeeping, or linen room experience preferred; motivated candidates without prior experience will be considered.
- Detail-oriented and precise — you notice the difference between done and done correctly.
- Reliable and consistent: the morning team depends on what you process every night.
- Physically capable of standing for full shifts, lifting linen bundles, and operating industrial equipment.
- Organized and self-directed: able to manage the full PM laundry workload independently and prioritize without being told.
- Comfortable working with chemical cleaning products in compliance with safety guidelines.
- Availability for PM shifts including weekends and holidays as required by the operation.
Who Thrives Here
The laundry room is the right place for someone who finds genuine satisfaction in the work itself — in running a clean operation, finishing linen correctly, and knowing that the morning team will walk in to exactly what they need. It’s quiet, independent work with direct impact on the guest experience.
You’ll thrive if you:
- Take pride in doing precise work and don’t cut corners when no one is watching.
- Are self-directed and stay productive through a full PM shift without close supervision.
- Keep your workspace clean and organized as a matter of professional habit, not just at the end of the shift.
- Understand that what comes out of the laundry room reflects directly on the guest experience.
This may not be the right fit if you:
- Need frequent direction or close supervision to stay on task through an independent shift.
- Are not comfortable with the physical demands of a full laundry operation including standing, lifting, and operating equipment for an entire shift.
- Prefer a role with more guest-facing interaction.
