Contract Urdu Language Teacher (Online, 4–12 hrs/month)
Lingua Nexus is a boutique online language school dedicated to providing a “white-glove” approach to language learning. Every student receives a personalized learning plan tailored to their goals, interests, and desired outcomes. We’re seeking a passionate and professional Urdu Language Teacher to join our team on a contract basis.
About the Role
- Contract hours: 4–12 hours per month (with potential to grow)
- Format: 100% online via Zoom
- Location: Remote (open worldwide)
- Compensation: Competitive hourly rate, based on experience
This role is ideal for teachers who thrive in personalized 1:1 learning environments and want to create a high-touch experience for motivated students.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver individualized Urdu lessons based on each student’s goals, learning style, and proficiency level
- Create engaging learning plans that integrate speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills
- Provide constructive feedback and progress tracking to ensure measurable improvement
- Communicate clearly and professionally with students to foster confidence and growth
- Use Zoom effectively to manage lessons (screen-sharing, whiteboard tools, breakout rooms, etc.)
- Contribute to the premium “Lingua Nexus” experience with attention to detail and a student-first mindset
Requirements
- Native or near-native fluency in Urdu
- Strong command of English for instruction and communication
- Proven experience teaching Urdu as a foreign/second language (5+ years preferred)
- Ability to design personalized lesson plans and adapt to student needs
- Comfortable teaching online via Zoom (strong digital/technical skills)
- Reliable internet connection and professional teaching environment
