Job Description: Tuopu USA LLC is seeking a EHS Supervisor to join our team in Austin, TX. In this role, you will be responsible with ensuring compliance with OSHA and applicable environmental regulations while promoting a strong safety culture and safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and programs.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, Kentucky OSHA, and applicable regulations.
- Conduct routine safety inspections, hazard assessments, and workplace audits.
- Investigate workplace injuries, near misses, and safety incidents and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain OSHA logs, safety records, training records, and regulatory documentation.
- Conduct safety training for employees, supervisors, and managers, including PPE, LOTO, HazCom, forklift safety, and emergency procedures.
- Manage PPE, emergency equipment, safety signage, and other safety resources.
- Support workers' compensation and return-to-work processes.
- Manage environmental programs involving chemicals, hazardous materials, waste, spills, and related compliance requirements.
- Coordinate emergency preparedness and safety drills.
- Partner with Production, Maintenance, Quality, Logistics, and HR to identify and resolve safety concerns.
- Analyze safety trends and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support internal, customer, insurance, and regulatory audits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in EHS, Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of EHS/safety experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices.
- Experience with incident investigation, hazard assessments, and employee training.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Automotive manufacturing experience preferred.
- OSHA 30, ASP, CSP, or similar certification preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
Working Conditions
- Manufacturing environment with regular exposure to machinery, forklifts, chemicals, noise, and other industrial conditions.
- Regular time on the production floor and occasional work outside normal hours for emergencies or incidents.
- Must be able to wear required PPE and walk/stand throughout the facility.
