As the shift begins in Tampa, you take ownership of the plant’s most critical production and facility assets—steam sterilizers, ovens, pumps, kettles, piping, utilities, PLC-controlled systems, and more. You lead complex troubleshooting, coordinate corrective actions to keep lines running, and mentor junior techs while ensuring every move aligns with GMP, SOPs, and site safety practices.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and process equipment to restore safe, efficient operation.
- Lead advanced troubleshooting on steam sterilizers, ovens, pumps, kettles, electrical controls, piping networks, and related utilities.
- Guide Maintenance Technician I and II teammates through mentoring, training, and on-the-job technical coaching.
- Drive continuous improvement actions that increase reliability, performance, and uptime.
- Execute corrective maintenance promptly to minimize unplanned downtime.
- Complete scheduled Preventive Maintenance (PM) per documented procedures.
- Process, complete, and document work orders in the CMMS accurately and on time.
- Uphold GMP/SOP requirements and all LOTO, PPE, safety, and housekeeping standards.
- Work effectively in an aseptic manufacturing setting (training provided) and maintain respiratory protection qualifications (training provided).
- Support facility, production, and laboratory equipment upgrades and repairs as needed.
Own daily work orders and PMs while troubleshooting, repairing, and upgrading a broad range of production, facility, and laboratory systems.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 10+ years of industrial maintenance experience spanning mechanical, electrical and controls, piping, and pneumatic systems.
- Proven skill maintaining and installing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and process equipment.
- Hands-on experience with electrical controls: motors, motor controls, VFDs, relays, and sensors.
- Background in installing, repairing, and maintaining industrial piping systems (valves, fittings, pumps, and related components).
- Strong organization, prioritization, and deadline management; steady under pressure.
- Clear written and verbal communication.
- Meticulous attention to quality, safety, and accuracy.
- Proficiency with hand/power tools, electrical test instruments, and standard maintenance equipment.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, P&IDs, manuals, and OEM documentation.
- Preferred: experience with machine shop equipment (lathes, milling machines).
- Valid driver’s license.
- Aseptic Gowning Certification
- Forklift & JLG Certification

Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:00 pm–11:30 pm
