Duties
- Perform a variety of esthetic treatments including facials, dermabrasion, body waxing, eyelash extensions, esthetic laser treatments, and hair threading to meet client needs.
- Deliver expert nail care services such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, and nail art with precision and attention to detail.
- Apply hair extensions and style hair to complement clients’ aesthetic goals while maintaining high standards of sanitation and safety.
- Educate clients on skincare routines, product recommendations, and retail options to enhance their beauty regimen.
- Upsell additional services and retail products through effective communication skills and product knowledge to maximize client satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized workspace following all health regulations and industry best practices for sanitation.
- Stay current with industry trends like color theory, hair styling techniques, and new esthetic treatments to ensure innovative service offerings.
Experience
- Proven experience as an esthetician or nail technician with a strong portfolio of beauty services performed.
- Knowledge of cosmetology principles including skin analysis, color theory, and advanced nail care techniques.
- Familiarity with esthetic laser treatments, dermabrasion procedures, hair extensions, hair styling, barbering skills, and eyelash extension application.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build lasting client relationships.
- Ability to perform retail math calculations for upselling products confidently.
- Strong understanding of sanitation standards and safety protocols essential for maintaining a hygienic environment.
- Previous experience in retail sales within a beauty setting is a plus; enthusiasm for continuous learning about new beauty trends is highly valued.
