COMPENSATION
$95,000–$110,000 for experienced maintenance leaders without a degree.
$135,000–$150,000 for qualified degreed engineers.
Performance-based monthly bonus opportunity up to 10% of monthly salary. Relocation assistance up to $10,000 may be available on a case-by-case basis.
JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking a Reliability & Central Maintenance Superintendent to lead maintenance and reliability activities in a 24/7 aluminum manufacturing facility. This role provides leadership and accountability for safe, efficient maintenance execution while driving the transition from reactive to proactive and predictive maintenance.
The position oversees Building and Facility needs, HVAC, Roll Shop, Forklifts, Cranes, Air Compressors, and Reliability teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead Maintenance & Reliability Operations
Lead maintenance activities while promoting 100% safety compliance, accountability, efficiency, and performance in a metrics-driven environment.
Drive Predictive Maintenance
Implement predictive maintenance tools and reliability processes to improve equipment performance, reduce downtime, identify waste, and lower costs.
Improve Maintenance Performance
Lead responses to breakdowns, ensure PMs and work orders are completed safely and on time, support precision maintenance, and schedule Mill Services and Crane outages.
Work with Engineering on new equipment purchases and integrate predictive monitoring and reliability tools into equipment designs.
Provide technical expertise regarding equipment capabilities, functionality, operating practices, and maintenance requirements.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Associate degree with 4 years of maintenance experience, or 8 years of maintenance experience in lieu of a degree.
At least 4 years of supervisory or maintenance leadership experience.
Strong knowledge of industrial equipment, maintenance practices, processes, and systems.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across all organizational levels.
Ability to work flexible hours in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in aluminum manufacturing, molten metal, melting, casting, or rolling mill operations.
Electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, or industrial maintenance experience.
Experience with predictive maintenance, reliability tools, root-cause analysis, and proactive maintenance programs.
