EIG Property Management is seeking a Lead Apartment Cleaner who will be responsible for supervising daily cleaning operations while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and quality. This role leads a team of cleaners, ensures tasks are completed efficiently, and serves as a point of contact between staff and management or clients.
Our properties are located in Minneapolis, St. Paul, and the surrounding suburbs. Our cleaners are provided a company vehicle and roam throughout the metro (and therefore, you must have a clean driving record)..
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning activities
- Assign tasks and ensure completion according to schedules and standards
- Perform routine and deep cleaning as needed
- Inspect work areas and address quality issues promptly
- Train and support new and existing cleaning staff
- Ensure proper use of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and supplies
- Maintain inventory and report supply or maintenance needs
- Enforce safety, sanitation, and company policies
- Communicate with management and respond to client concerns
Required Skills

Preferred Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial services, or hospitality housekeeping management

- Strong knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques, laundry processes, and janitorial supplies
- Leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties, which may include lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
