Flora Farms Springfield is looking for a Full Time Sales Lead. This position will be scheduled 35-40 hours per week. Our store hours are 9am-10pm 7 days a week. Full Time employees must provide open availability (including evenings and weekends) and be able to accommodate a flexible schedule. No set schedules are available for this position. Sales Lead are paid hourly plus tips. Exact pay rate depends on experience. Ideally, Sales Leads are passionate, personable, and willing to lead by example to ensure our customers have the best experience possible. The Sales Lead helps set the standard for customer interactions, product knowledge, and industry compliance. Responsibilities include opening and closing the store, assisting with day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with all state regulations, and leading the sales floor. We are looking for someone with strong background in sales and customer service, some leadership experience, excellent communication skills and a passion for cannabis.
JOB DUTIES
- Assist customers and patients in selecting the right cannabis products for their needs
- Keep educated on cannabis products, consumption methods and cannabis regulations
- Utilize company POS system, inventory controls and cash handling procedures to ensure inventory and cash accuracy
- Acts as Manager on Duty and responsible for opening and closing the store
- Meet individual and store goals
- Responsible for educating budtenders on cannabis products, sales and service techniques, company procedures, and industry trends
- Respond to customer and staff concerns. Partner with management to resolve issues quickly and professionally and according to company policies
- Provide customer and product feedback to management
- Promote a work environment that is positive, customer focused and solution oriented
- Able to effectively manage time and projects as directed by the company
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS
- At least 4 years experience in customer service and sales, ideally in the retail sector
- At least 2 years leadership experience
- Knowledgeable of the Missouri cannabis market and products
- Experience with MS Office, familiar with MS Outlook
- Experience with retail POS system and cash management
- Able to work days, nights, weekends, holidays as required for position
- Able to work flexible schedule and meet needs of an ever-changing business
- Comfortable opening and closing the store
- Reliable transportation and reasonable commute
- Able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 30 lbs
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be 21 or older and able to get a Missouri Agent ID
