Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations within our manufacturing facility. This leadership role is essential in ensuring the optimal performance, safety, and reliability of all mechanical, electrical, and facility systems. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in industrial maintenance, management, and facilities management, with a strong focus on safety standards and operational efficiency. As Maintenance Supervisor, you will coordinate maintenance activities, supervise technical staff, and implement preventative maintenance programs to support continuous production and operational excellence.
Duties
- Lead and supervise the maintenance team to ensure timely completion of routine and emergency repairs across mechanical, electrical, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), low voltage, and high voltage systems.
- Develop, implement, and oversee preventative maintenance schedules using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to minimize downtime.
- Manage maintenance projects from planning through execution, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, budgets, and timelines.
- Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately and efficiently.
- Oversee the installation, calibration, and troubleshooting of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and other automation equipment.
- Conduct inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential hazards or failures; recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities using CMMS software for reporting and compliance purposes.
- Supervise the procurement of parts and supplies required for maintenance tasks while adhering to budget constraints.
- Train team members on safety procedures, technical skills, and new maintenance technologies.
- Collaborate with production management to prioritize maintenance tasks that minimize impact on manufacturing operations.
Qualifications
- Proven management experience in industrial or manufacturing facilities with a strong background in facilities management.
- Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems (including high voltage and low voltage), HVAC systems, and industrial maintenance practices.
- Hands-on experience with schematics interpretation, Ohmmeter usage, troubleshooting electrical circuits, and reading technical manuals.
- Familiarity with CMMS platforms for work order management and asset tracking.
- Strong understanding of maintenance management principles including project management techniques.
- Demonstrated supervisory skills with a track record of leading diverse teams effectively.
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automation systems is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and team coordination.
- Ability to interpret technical schematics and electrical diagrams accurately.
- Relevant certifications or training in electrical work or facilities management are preferred.
