At Rec Room, we have 2 job opportunities, one you’ll gain real-world experience in all aspects of live show production. This entry-level opportunity to learn, grow, and work alongside experienced professionals in a fast-paced, high-energy environment featuring national touring artists, regional acts, and a wide range of live entertainment. For those who have experience, you will enjoy working on our M32 console, mixing on our Line Array PA and play with all the bells and whistles we have when mixing national touring artists.
What You’ll Do
As part of our Production Team, you’ll assist with the execution of live events and day-to-day production operations, including:
- Assist with stage setup, sound checks, and equipment testing prior to events
- Support artists with load-in and load-out of equipment
- Operate and learn our Midas M32 digital mixing console for live events, including concerts, Live Band Karaoke, and Dueling Pianos
- Assist with lighting setup and basic lighting operation
- Help maintain sound quality and overall production standards throughout events
- Track, maintain, and organize production equipment and inventory
- Assist with wiring and configuring audio and lighting systems for various event formats
- Troubleshoot technical issues as they arise during events
- Adapt to frequent changes in stage layouts, green room setups, and production needs
- Maintain a clean, organized front-of-house (FOH) and production workspace
- Assist with general upkeep, repairs, and maintenance of production equipment

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in live sound or event production is a plus, but not required (entry-level role)
- Basic knowledge of sound engineering, audio equipment, or lighting systems
- Experience running cables, setting up equipment, or working in live event environments
Physical & Schedule Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods (up to 12 hours)
- Comfortable working on ladders and at heights when needed
- Availability to work late nights, including Fridays (shifts may run until 4:00 AM)
- High school diploma required; course work or degree in audio/sound engineering is a plus
