South Texas trucking company is currently seeking a computer system
analyst.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide technical assistance, support, and advice to computer system
users, includes providing answers to questions or resolve computer
problems for users in person or via telephone throughout the employer’s
business.
- Provide support for the employer’s local area network, integrated computer
system networks and assist IT manager on specialized segments of
computer network applications.
- Maintain network hardware and software update and running.
- Schedule preventive maintenance to computer and peripherals, daily
register and report all activities to IT manager.
- Monitor all GPS tracking devices installed through the employer’s business
vehicles.
- Provides support, monitor and assessment for all the employer’s logistics
software applications.
- Assist the employer’s IT manager on specialized segments of computer
network applications.
- Schedule preventive maintenance to devices and peripherals, daily
register and report all activities to IT manager.
- Respond to all emergency calls related to IT issues.
- Document and maintain an inventory of Local Area Network and segments.
- Maintain logs related to problems. Exceptions, and solutions of network
functions, as well as maintenance and repair records.
