Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Traffic Control Supervisor to lead and coordinate traffic management operations on construction sites and roadwork projects. Duties
- Supervise traffic control personnel, assigning tasks and ensuring adherence to safety protocols
- Coordinate the setup and maintenance of traffic control devices such as cones, barriers, signage, and flagging operations
- Monitor construction activities to ensure safe vehicle movement and prevent accidents or disruptions
- Conduct regular inspections of traffic control zones, ensuring proper placement and functionality of equipment
- Communicate effectively with construction teams, safety officers, and local authorities to manage traffic flow efficiently
- Maintain detailed records of daily operations, incidents, and safety compliance reports
- Train team members on proper traffic control procedures, equipment operation, and safety standards
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction site management or traffic control supervision
- Familiarity with construction site safety regulations and traffic management best practices
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and external agencies
- Valid certifications in traffic control (ATSSA) required
- OSHA 10 (Preferred)
- PowerSafe (Preferred)
