Position Summary
The Admissions Coordinator plans, coordinates, and manages the admissions process to ensure a positive experience for residents and families while supporting census growth for the facility.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain relationships with residents, families, hospitals, referral sources, and community partners.
Conduct tours, presentations, and admissions interviews, explaining services and answering questions.
Coordinate and complete all admissions paperwork and pre-admission processes accurately and timely.
Monitor, track, and report census and referral activity, collaborating with leadership on growth strategies.
Handle inquiry calls from families and referral sources and convert inquiries into scheduled tours and admissions.
Perform other admissions and marketing duties as assigned by facility management.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience in admissions for a skilled nursing facility required or strongly preferred.
Nursing license highly preferred.
Long-term care/skilled nursing experience preferred.
Strong communication, customer service, and sales/relationship-building skills.
