Part-Time Home Care Registered Nurse (RN)
Up to 30 Hours per Week | 8- to 10-Hour Shifts
We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide one-on-one care for an adult family member in our private home. The position is part time, with up to 30 hours available per week. Shifts are generally eight to ten hours in length.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing skilled one-on-one nursing care in the home
- Monitoring respiratory status and responding promptly to changes
- Providing airway clearance, suctioning, and respiratory treatments
- Managing BiPAP, oxygen, cough-assist, and other respiratory equipment
- Administering medications and treatments as ordered
- Providing G-tube feedings, medications, and site care
- Assisting with positioning, transfers, mobility, and activities of daily living
- Monitoring skin integrity and helping prevent pressure injuries
- Completing accurate nursing documentation
- Communicating clearly with the family, physicians, and other members of the care team
- Maintaining a safe, calm, respectful, and professional care environment
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a current Massachusetts RN license in good standing
- Have experience with medically complex patients and home care
- Be comfortable providing respiratory, airway, and G-tube care
- Be dependable, attentive, patient, and committed to quality care
- Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and recognize subtle changes in a patient’s condition
- Be able to work independently while communicating collaboratively with the family and care team
- Respect the patient’s dignity, privacy, preferences, and independence
- Be interested in a stable, long-term position
Experience with BiPAP, oxygen, suctioning, cough-assist equipment, G-tube care, and total-care patients is strongly preferred. Training specific to the patient’s established routines and equipment will be provided.

Schedule: Part time, up to 30 hours per week; eight- to ten-hour shifts
