Responsibilities
- Engage with customers through friendly, professional communication to understand their rental needs and present tailored solutions
- Manage rental inventory, ensuring accurate control and timely updates using inventory management systems
- Conduct public speaking engagements and product demonstrations to showcase rental options effectively
- Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, maintaining detailed records of transactions, and processing rental agreements with precision
- Provide exceptional customer service at the front desk, addressing inquiries both in person and via phone with polished phone etiquette
- Negotiate rental terms with clients to achieve mutually beneficial agreements while maintaining company standards
- Support marketing efforts by promoting special offers and new rental products to attract potential customers
- Outside sales and engage with contractors and create accounts
Requirements
- Proven experience in outside sales or retail sales environments, demonstrating strong negotiation and communication skills
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively
- Prior experience with inventory management, inventory control, or retail math is preferred
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a busy setting
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and data entry tools for record keeping and reporting purposes
- Exceptional customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette
- Ability to perform public speaking or presentations confidently to groups of varying sizes
- Administrative experience that includes handling maintenance requests or front desk responsibilities is a plus
- Knowledge of marketing strategies and promotional activities to enhance rental visibility
