Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Manager to lead our service department. The ideal candidate is a motivated leader with strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences. This role is responsible for managing service technicians, overseeing daily operations, ensuring profitability, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the HVAC service department.
- Schedule and dispatch technicians to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor service performance, productivity, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Provide technical support and guidance to technicians in the field.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly.
- Conduct performance evaluations and ongoing training.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Manage inventory, equipment, and service vehicles.
- Collaborate with the sales and installation teams to ensure seamless customer experiences.
- Review estimates, invoices, and completed work for accuracy.
- Recruit, interview, and onboard new service technicians as needed.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of HVAC service experience.
- Previous leadership or management experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of residential and light commercial HVAC systems.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong customer service and communication abilities.
- Experience using dispatch or service management software is a plus.
- EPA Certification required.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
