The DRIPBaR Charlottesville is seeking a friendly, knowledgeable, and dependable Nurse Practitioner to join our clinical team on a flexible PRN basis.
Located on Charlottesville’s Downtown Mall, The DRIPBaR provides IV vitamin therapy, intramuscular vitamin injections, and wellness-focused services in a beautiful, welcoming boutique environment.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct appropriate client consultations, medical-history reviews, and clinical assessments
- Determine client eligibility for IV vitamin therapy, intramuscular injections, and other available wellness services
- Develop individualized treatment recommendations according to client needs, clinical judgment, authorized formularies, and established protocols
- Order or prescribe appropriate treatments within the provider’s legal scope of practice and prescriptive authority
- Review contraindications, allergies, medications, health conditions, and potential interactions
- Educate clients regarding recommended treatments, potential benefits and risks, expected experiences, and appropriate follow-up
- Administer or assist with IV infusions and intramuscular injections when appropriate and within demonstrated competency
- Monitor clients and respond appropriately to adverse reactions, emergencies, or changes in clinical condition
- Provide clinical guidance and support to registered nurses and other authorized clinical team members
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Follow all applicable medication-safety, infection-control, privacy, emergency-response, and clinical-quality procedures
- Collaborate appropriately with the clinic’s Medical Director and other healthcare providers
- Help maintain a safe, organized, compliant, and welcoming environment
Required Qualifications:
- Active, unrestricted Virginia Nurse Practitioner/APRN license
- Current Virginia RN license or qualifying multistate privilege, as applicable
- Current national board certification in an appropriate population focus
- Active prescriptive authority appropriate for the position
- Authorization to practice autonomously in Virginia or ability to practice under an appropriate written or electronic practice agreement
- Current BLS certification
- Strong assessment, clinical decision-making, and client-education skills
- Understanding of safe medication administration and emergency-response procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Dependable, professional, and comfortable working with appropriate independence
- Willingness to complete all required DRIPBaR training and follow established clinical protocols
Preferred Experience:
Previous experience in IV therapy, infusion services, functional or integrative wellness, primary care, urgent care, emergency medicine, outpatient care, or medical aesthetics is preferred but not required.
Qualified new graduates with applicable licensure, prescriptive authority, strong clinical judgment, and a willingness to complete comprehensive training are encouraged to apply.
