Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial painting, preferably in fleet painting. This role requires an eye for detail, knowledge of paint mixing, and proficiency in various painting techniques and tools. The Lead Painter will be responsible for ensuring high-quality finishes while adhering to safety standards and project timelines.
Responsibilities
- Execute painting projects from start to finish, ensuring quality and efficiency.
- Prepare fleet trucks for painting as necessary.
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using spray equipment.
- Adhere to proper techniques, safety practices, and equipment usage.
- Maintain an organized and clean work environment by managing tools and materials effectively.
- Conduct regular inspections of completed work to ensure adherence to specifications and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot issues that arise during the painting process and implement solutions promptly.
Requirements
- Proven experience in industrial painting, preferably fleet.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the painting trade.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.
