We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Movers to join our team. As a Mover, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients with their relocation needs, ensuring that their belongings are transported safely and efficiently. This position requires physical stamina, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.
Duties
- Safely load and unload items from trucks or vans, ensuring all belongings are handled with care.
- Operate moving equipment such as dollies, hand trucks, and forklifts as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during the moving process.
- Assist in packing and unpacking items for clients, ensuring proper organization and protection of belongings.
- Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to safety regulations during transportation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the moving vehicle and warehouse facilities.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks as required, ensuring proper lifting techniques to avoid injury.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of moving assignments.
Experience
- Previous experience in moving or delivery services is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong customer service skills to effectively interact with clients and address their needs.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the workday.
- Experience driving commercial vehicles or vans is advantageous.
