Fine dining experience a plus. Qualified candidates to be considered for expo position, must have experience.
Responsibilities
- Safely handle and transport food items from the kitchen to dining areas, adhering to food safety standards and safe lifting practices
- Assist with food preparation, plating, and garnishing as needed to ensure dishes are presentation-ready and meet companies standards
- Clear and clean tables efficiently through bussing, maintaining a clean and organized dining space
- Support the kitchen team by performing basic cleaning duties, including wiping down surfaces and disposing of waste properly
- Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and guests to coordinate timely food delivery and address special requests
- Manage in-person customer service interactions with professionalism, friendliness, and attentiveness
Experience
- Previous food service or restaurant experience is highly preferred, including roles involving food running or food prep
- Familiarity with food handling procedures, kitchen operations, and safety protocols is advantageous
- Strong communication skills coupled with a positive attitude are essential for success in a guest-facing environment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks with ease is important for daily responsibilities
