Experienced Water Mitigation Technician

Position Summary
We are seeking an Experienced Water Mitigation Technician to join our growing team. This position requires prior hands-on experience in water damage restoration and mitigation. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in industry standards, capable of working independently and as part of a team, and committed to providing exceptional service to our customers.
Water mitigation, mold remediation, and fire damage restoration are our primary services. We are looking for a technician who can hit the ground running and contribute immediately to our operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform water mitigation services, including extraction, drying, monitoring, and demolition as needed.
- Assist with mold remediation and fire damage restoration projects.
- Communicate with customers regarding scope of work and establish clear expectations.
- Document all job activities, including photos, moisture readings, work authorizations, and completion documents.
- Update job files and project information daily.
- Set up, monitor, and maintain drying equipment.
- Maintain all company restoration and cleaning equipment in clean, working condition.
- Follow company procedures and IICRC standards.
- Participate in on-call rotations and emergency response services.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of water mitigation/restoration experience required.
- Valid Driver's License with no DUIs or license suspensions within the past 4 years.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to lift and move up to 100 pounds.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments.
- No felony convictions.
- Must be able to access military installations.
Preferred Qualifications
- IICRC WRT Certification or other relevant IICRC certifications.
- Experience with mold remediation and fire damage restoration.
- Familiarity with moisture mapping, drying equipment, and restoration software.
- Experience using MICA Software (Highly preferred)
Compensation
$22.00 – $25.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
