Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and identify their needs to recommend suitable products and services.
- Assist customers with product selection
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing.
- Maintain organized merchandise displays through effective merchandising and stocking practices to enhance shopping experience.
- Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels, conducting stock replenishment, and assisting with inventory counts.
- Previous retail sales experience or familiarity with POS systems and cashiering is advantageous.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage stock and merchandising effectively.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to stocking and product display.
- Knowledge of retail math principles for accurate cash handling and sales transactions.
- Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to engage positively with shoppers of all backgrounds.
