3rd shift 9:00pm- 5:00am Sunday-Thursday with overtime as needed
Material Handler Summary:
A steel and aluminum distribution company is looking for a Material Handler/Bar Puller to join their team! The company has an outstanding benefits package upon hire in and is a destination company to work for in West Michigan.
Material Handler Responsibilities:
- Selecting and moving metal round stock and bar stock
- Choose the correct stock by number, color, and measurement
- Use forklift, side forklift, and overhead pendant to move materials
- Will assist saw operators in metal cutting
- May lift up to 70 lbs by hand
Material Handler Qualifications:
- 1+ year of manufacturing experience
- Forklift experience is desired (company will train)
- Excellent math reasoning and measurements
- Ability to see color
- Be comfortable lifting up to 70 pounds
- Qualities such as being self-directed, dependable, team-oriented, and flexible are desired
