Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable, compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide consistent one-on-one personal care in a private residence in Benton, Arkansas Monday-Friday 7am-1pm. The CNA will help the client safely complete daily activities while encouraging dignity, comfort, and as much independence as possible.
The ideal candidate is punctual, patient, attentive to safety, and experienced in assisting clients with mobility limitations. This is a stable weekday position offering 30 hours each week.
Responsibilities
- Assist with walking and mobility using a gait belt and standing walker
- Provide one-person assistance with transfers
- Assist with toileting
- Provide dressing oversight and personal-hygiene reminders
- Prepare meals and clean up afterward
- Provide medication reminders
- Follow fall-prevention and client-safety precautions
- Offer companionship, encouragement, redirection, and respectful support
- Document completed services according to the plan of care
Requirements
- Current CNA certification
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Experience assisting clients with mobility limitations
- Ability to safely provide one-person assistance
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor
- Ability to follow an individualized plan of care
- Must be a nonsmoker
- Must be comfortable working in a home with a cat
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
