Moorefield Construction Inc. has been in business for over 65 years performing commercial construction of large retail centers, theaters and entertainment complexes, casinos, hotels, and a variety of other commercial projects. We are currently looking for an experienced Construction Foreman for a casino project in Geyserville, California.
The Construction Foreman will supervise and coordinate the daily work of laborers while also performing hands-on construction labor as needed. This position will work closely with the Project Superintendent to maintain a safe, organized, and productive jobsite.
Position Responsibilities:
- Supervise laborers and coordinate daily work assignments
- Work alongside the crew and perform general construction labor as needed
- Monitor the quality and progress of work to ensure assignments are completed properly and on schedule
- Assist the Superintendent with daily jobsite activities and coordination
- Enforce jobsite safety requirements and ensure work is performed in compliance with company policies and OSHA regulations
- Assist with material handling, loading and unloading deliveries, site cleanup, temporary protection, and general jobsite organization
- Monitor the proper use and care of company tools, materials, and equipment
- Communicate labor, material, equipment, and jobsite needs to the Superintendent
- Maintain positive working relationships with employees, subcontractors, suppliers, and other project personnel
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a construction foreman, lead, or similar supervisory role
- Commercial construction experience preferred
- Ability to supervise and motivate a crew while also performing hands-on labor
- Working knowledge of construction practices and jobsite safety requirements
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to follow plans, instructions, and project schedules
- Ability to perform physical construction work, including lifting, carrying, bending, climbing, and working outdoors
- Reliable attendance and the ability to report to the project site in Geyserville
- OSHA certification is a plus but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00 - $38.00 per hour
