Join our team of exceptional bridal sales consultants who provide brides with a refreshing and memorable shopping experience from our vast and impressionable collection of bridal gowns and accessories. Seng Couture is hiring Bridal Consultant/Stylists for our location in North Plainfield, NJ! We are seeking motivated sales professionals responsible for delivering best-in-class personalized service and achieving sales objectives through strong client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Provide a welcoming, supportive, and fun experience for brides and their guests.
- Curate gown selections based on each bride’s style, vision, and budget.
- Assist brides with trying on gowns and offer expert styling guidance.
- Recommend veils, jewelry, and accessories to complete the bridal look.
- Achieve sales goals through relationship-based selling and strong product knowledge.
- Maintain a clean, organized showroom and prepare fitting rooms for appointments.
- Accurately enter and review gown and accessory orders with brides.
- Communicate timelines, ordering processes, and next steps clearly.
Product Knowledge & Merchandising
- Stay informed on current bridal trends, designers, silhouettes, and fabric types.
- Understand gown construction, sizing, and customization options to answer bride questions confidently.
- Keep the showroom well-organized, visually appealing, and fully stocked with current collections.
- Assist in dressing mannequins, merchandising displays, and maintaining fitting room cleanliness.
- Ensure that the bridal sales floor, dressing rooms, stock and common areas are kept organized, clean and safe
Appointment & Order Management
- Prepare fitting rooms and dress selections in advance of scheduled appointments.
- Accurately enter and review order details with brides to ensure gown and accessory selections are correct.
- Communicate clearly about timelines, ordering processes, alterations, and next steps.
- Liaise with the alterations team, QC specialists, and management for smooth customer handoffs.
Customer Relationship Building
- Develop rapport with brides to create a comfortable, enjoyable experience from start to finish.
- Follow up with brides after appointments when appropriate to maintain engagement and support.
- Handle emotional moments with professionalism, empathy, and care.
Professional Appearance Requirements
- Must maintain a polished, clean, and professional appearance at all times.
- Clothing should be stylish yet conservative, representing the boutique’s brand image.
- Hair, makeup, and personal grooming must reflect a neat, elevated presentation suitable for luxury retail.
Qualifications
- Experience in bridal, luxury fashion sales, hospitality or customer service preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while providing exceptional service.
- Comfortable assisting brides with gown handling and dressing.
- Must be Flexible to work evenings & mandatory weekends on a retail schedule.
