Houston, TX | Chemical Tanker Driver
Eagle Transport operates terminals throughout the eastern United States, specializing in the transportation of fuel, chemical, and dry bulk product.
Chemical Tanker Drivers with the Eagle's - Houston team ensure the safe transportation of chemical product to client locations throughout the Southeast region while adhering to DOT regulations, corporate policies, and company protocols.
Requirements
- A minimum of 23 years of age.
- Have a valid Class A CDL with an X endorsement ( Tanker + Hazmat) and the ability to operate a vehicle with air brakes.
- A minimum of 2-years tanker driving experience within the past 3 years
- No more than two (2) moving violations in the past three (3) years
- Have NO chargeable "DOT-Recordable" accidents while driving a commercial vehicle within the past 3 years
- NO DUI/DWI OUI offenses
- Ability to read, speak and understand the English Language
Job Duties
- Safely delivery dispatched loads of chemical product to client locations and facilities, ensuring that all deliveries are delivered timely and accurately.
- Manage all aspects of safe truck operation according to DOT regulation Eagle Company policies and safety protocols.
- Accurately prepare and complete all required equipment and delivery reports.
- Work closely with dispatch and other team members to optimize delivery routes and schedules.
