Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Schedule: Day Shifts Available; Mon-Fri; 8AM- 12PM
Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered care while assisting residents with activities of daily living. Our CNAs play an essential role in promoting the comfort, dignity, safety, and well-being of every patient.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and oral hygiene.
- Help residents with mobility, transfers, repositioning, and ambulation using proper body mechanics and transfer equipment.
- Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respirations, oxygen saturation, height, and weight.
- Observe and report changes in residents' physical, emotional, or mental condition to the supervisor.
- Assist with feeding and hydration, documenting food and fluid intake when required.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and daily activities.
- Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests for assistance.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Assist with transporting residents to appointments, activities, or other departments as needed.
- Follow infection prevention and control procedures, including proper hand hygiene and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Promote residents' dignity, privacy, independence, and emotional well-being.
- Work collaboratively with nurses, physicians, therapists, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Perform light housekeeping duties within resident rooms as needed.
- Follow all facility policies, HIPAA regulations, and state and federal healthcare guidelines.
Qualifications
- CNA license preferred but not required!
- Must pass background check
- Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred or required).
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2+ years of CNA or caregiving experience required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift, reposition, and transfer patients safely.
- Compassionate, patient, dependable, and team-oriented.
