About the Role
You'll work in a fast-paced kitchen supporting daily food production and order fulfillment. Most of your time will be split between running the fryer station, prepping cold items, and getting orders ready for customer pickup. This is a hands-on role where speed, accuracy, and cleanliness matter every shift.
What You'll Do
- Operate the fryer safely and consistently — fries, onion rings, chicken tenders, mozzarella sticks, pizza puffs, wings, and more
- Follow portion standards and cook times on every item, every time
- Prep cold items: salads, hot dogs, wraps, and any mise en place needed for service
- Assemble and stage completed orders accurately for front-of-house handoff
- Maintain a clean, organized station throughout the shift
- Rotate and label food stock following FIFO
- Communicate ticket flow and timing with counter staff during service
- Follow all food safety and allergen protocols
What We're Looking For
- Prior kitchen or food service experience preferred — fryer experience is a plus
- Ability to stay calm, organized, and accurate during a rush
- Follows instructions and standard procedures without shortcuts
- Works clean — keeps the station reset and ready throughout the shift
- Dependable: shows up on time, ready to work
- Team-first attitude — this kitchen only works if everyone communicates
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for full shifts (4–8 hours)
- Comfortable working in a hot kitchen environment
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs
Schedule
Peak season availability required (spring through summer). Weekend and holiday availability strongly preferred.
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
