Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and versatile Maintenance Worker to join our dynamic team! Duties
- Perform general building maintenance including repairs to fixtures, doors, windows, and other infrastructure components
- Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored after use
- Assist with hardscape installations like walkways, patios, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures
- Inspect the interior and exterior of all buildings on the premises for wear or damages that require repair or equipment replacement.
- Record specific requests from managers for repairs. Identify whether it is a minor repair which can be handled internally or, if necessary,
- Rceive required bids from outside sources for major, or specialized (e.g., electrical wiring, etc.) repair.
- Make minor repairs. Replace defective or worn items (e.g., light bulbs).
- Schedule, monitor, and approve major repairs done by outside contractors.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of landscaping features, including light mowing, trimming, planting, and landscape upkeep
- Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, and adjusting sprinklers and watering equipment
- Understand and keep current of federal, state, and local regulations that effect building operations such as OSHA, etc.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience operating hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as excavators
- Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and repair; familiarity with irrigation management best practices
- Experience with construction projects including hardscape work and general building repairs
- Familiarity with pesticide management procedures following safety regulations
- Construction experience or background in groundskeeping is highly desirable
- Excellent physical stamina with the ability to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
