Job Overview
The General Production Employee is responsible for assisting in the manufacturing, processing, packaging, and handling of pickle products while maintaining food safety, quality, and productivity standards. Employees work as part of a team to ensure products are produced efficiently and meet customer specifications. Duties may vary based on department assignment and production needs.
Responsibilities
- Perform assigned tasks on production lines, including sorting, packing, labeling, stacking, and palletizing products.
- Inspect products and packaging to ensure quality standards are met.
- Operate production equipment safely and efficiently after proper training.
- Follow all food safety, quality, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation as required.
- Keep work areas clean and organized throughout the shift.
- Report equipment issues, product defects, food safety concerns, or safety hazards to supervisors.
- Assist with changeovers, sanitation activities, and other production-related tasks as needed.
- Work cooperatively with supervisors, quality personnel, maintenance, and fellow employees.
- Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and attendance requirements.
Skills
- Manufacturing or food production experience preferred.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Frequent bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to work in wet, humid, cold, or warm environments depending on department assignment.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.

Pay: $17.87 - $20.59 per hour
