Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and reliable Forklift/Lot Attendant to join our team. In this vital role, you will manage the movement and organization of inventory using forklifts, assist with parking and lot organization, and support overall dealership operations. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help ensure our lot runs smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely to load, unload, and transport RVs and related inventory around the dealership lot.
- Assist with parking, retrieving, and positioning RVs in designated areas, ensuring proper placement according to dealership standards.
- Maintain an organized lot by inspecting vehicles, managing lot cleanliness, and ensuring clear pathways for customer access.
- Support guest services by guiding visitors to parking areas and providing friendly assistance as needed.
- Conduct routine safety checks on equipment and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding inventory status and lot organization.
Skills
- Proven experience operating forklifts
- Strong guest service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and assist customers effectively.
- Knowledge of parking regulations and procedures.
- Previous dealership experience or delivery driver background is a plus.
