Job Overview
TCH Omaha branch is looking for a full-time Welder/ Metal Fabricator to fabricate and weld steel door frames following company quality standards. Hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 3:30 PM (during normal business hours).
Essential Job Functions
- Weld steel door frames
- Grind and finish steel doors and frames
- Cut/prep/deburr doors and frames to proper specifications
- Pull material for fabrication
- Use various shop tools and welders to complete job tasks
- Other duties as assigned
Skills Requirements
- Mig welding, 220V experience
- Experience using various shop tools like electric grinder, jigsaw, circular saw, radial arm saw, etc.
- Forklift certified, or willing to become certified
- Accurately read tape measure
- Basic understanding of TCH work orders, paperwork, etc.
- Ability to read and comprehend templates
- Basic understanding of industry nomenclature
- Favorable results from a pre-employment drug screen and physical
Working Conditions
Warehouse environment is subject to temperature changes, on your feet most of the day. Also involves: bending, twisting, kneeling, squatting, push/ pull and constant use of hands with repetitive motions. Lift 10-50 lbs, regularly, 100 lbs +, occasionally.
