We’ve recently welcomed an additional veterinarian and are now seeking more support to keep up with our growth. Our team operates out of a brand-new, custom-built facility located at:
10500 S. Sooner Rd., Oklahoma City, OK 73165
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the veterinary field
- Experience with AviMark Practice Management Software (preferred, not required)
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Safely restraining and handling patients up to 50 pounds
- Managing appointment flow for your assigned doctor
- Inducing anesthesia and preparing patients for surgical procedures
- Surgical prep and anesthetic monitoring
- Proficiency in medical math and common veterinary pharmaceuticals
- Administering medications (IV, SQ, PO, IM)
- Performing venipuncture, placing IV catheters, administering IV meds
- Educating clients on wellness care and disease prevention (Heartworm, Flea & Tick, etc.)
- Providing general nursing care and animal husbandry
