We are looking for safe and experienced drivers specifically for Dump and Roll-Off Trucks
Description:
- Drive a Company owned vehicle for the purpose of transporting materials within the greater Chicagoland area which may include crossing state lines.
- Load and unload Cargo.
- Complete a daily truck log and submit reports of mileage covered at EOD
- Manage routes and routines to proceed in the most efficient way possible avoiding prohibited streets and bridges.
- Refuel and maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle.
- Report all road incidents to the dispatcher. Follow Accident protocols if appropriate.
- Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle at the beginning and end of the shift and report any problems or damage to management via the pre and post-trip sheet.
- Follow all traffic and safety laws and Comply with all DOT and in-house regulations and rules.
- Complete all in-house training as required.
- Serve as a brand advocate and ambassador in every interaction with clients and the public.
Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED required
- Class A CDL for Dump Trucks/ Class A or B CDL for Roll-off in good standing
- No serious tickets or accidents in last 5 years
- No DWI/DUI in last 10 years
- 2+ years’ commercial driving experience required
- Clean MVR/Driving Record; presented at the time of interview
- Able to work a Flexible Schedule
- Professional, Courteous Attitude
- Must complete and pass Drug/Alcohol Screening
