Position: Machine Operator
Shift: 1st shift (Monday – Thursday) 4:55 am – 3:25 pm
Pay: Level II - $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
Job Description:
· Assembly of medical blankets and parts – folding, packing and sorting medical blankets, installing hoses and labels
· Operation of heat-sealing machines for the production of medical blankets & soft goods used in temperature management for the medical field
· Fast paced work / high volume production line – similar to a busy lunch rush at Subway; On feet for the duration of shift
· Standard machine operation & troubleshooting
· Read & follow written directions and instructions to input settings in the machines via (HMI interface)
· Machine changeovers & die changes
· Basic maintenance & troubleshooting
· Product testing
· Light duty material handling & packaging
· Ability to work to meet daily goals and quotas
· Quality assurance
· Work is done in a clean, safe, and temperature-controlled environment
Minimum Qualifications:
· High attention to detail
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
· Ability to read and understand written instructions
· Ability to perform basic math
· General mechanical aptitude
· Team oriented mindset
· Must be willing to assist in other areas as assigned
· Strong attendance & work history
· High school diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications:
· Use of basic hand & power tools
· Assembly experience
· Machine operation background
