Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and client-focused Commercial Insurance Account Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will manage an established portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, serving as a trusted advisor to business clients while helping them protect their assets and achieve their goals through tailored insurance solutions.
What You'll Do as a Commercial Insurance Account Manager:
- Manage and service a book of commercial insurance accounts
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client service requests and policy inquiries
- Process renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and new business submissions
- Review insurance policies to ensure accuracy and adequate coverage
- Prepare certificates of insurance, evidence of property forms, and related documentation
- Collaborate with producers to maximize client retention and account growth
- Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance carrier underwriters
- Identify opportunities for coverage enhancements and cross-selling solutions
- Maintain accurate records and documentation within agency management systems
- Provide proactive, responsive, and professional customer service to clients
Required/Preferred Qualifications for a Commercial Insurance Account Manager:
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) License preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of insurance industry experience preferred
- Commercial Lines insurance experience strongly preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional customer service and relationship-building abilities
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with agency management systems and Microsoft Office applications is a plus
- Commitment to delivering outstanding client experiences
