SANE is a nonprofit organization serving communities throughout California. We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Warehouse Assistant to join our Sacramento team.
This is a hands-on position responsible for packing orders, organizing inventory, preparing shipments, assembling supply kits, and helping maintain an efficient and organized warehouse.

Work Environment: 100% on-site
Starting Pay: $24.00–$26.00 per hour, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick, assemble, pack, label, and prepare orders for shipment. Verify orders contain the correct items and quantities before shipping. Receive, unpack, count, organize, and store incoming inventory.
- Maintain organized inventory and assist with stock counts and restocking. Identify and report damaged, missing, expired, or low-stock items.
- Assemble supply kits according to established instructions.
- Perform quality-control checks and follow procedures consistently.
- Handle returned or undeliverable packages as directed.
- Keep warehouse and storage areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Move boxes and supplies throughout the facility.
- Communicate shipping, inventory, or order issues promptly.
- Assist with general warehouse and facility needs.
What We're Looking For
Reliability: Consistent attendance and punctuality are essential.
Attention to Detail: Ability to follow instructions, count accurately, double-check work, and recognize errors.
Physical Capability: Ability to safely lift and move up to 40 pounds, navigate stairs, and perform work involving standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive packing.
Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
