Duties
- Operate laundry machines and equipment to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing with precision and care
- Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal results
- Perform dry cleaning processes for delicate or specialized garments using appropriate solvents and techniques
- Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas by regularly cleaning machines, work surfaces, and storage spaces
- Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies such as detergents, fabric softeners, and cleaning agents, reordering as needed
- Follow safety protocols when handling chemicals and operating machinery to ensure a safe working environment
- Assist with additional cleaning duties around the hotel premises as required to uphold overall hygiene standards
Requirements
- Prior experience in laundry operations or hotel housekeeping is highly desirable
- Knowledge of laundry procedures including washing, drying, folding, and dry cleaning techniques
- Strong attention to detail to ensure all linens and garments meet quality standards
- Ability to operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Good physical stamina for standing, lifting heavy loads, and performing repetitive tasks throughout shifts
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures related to laundry operations

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
