Position: Senior Commercial HVAC Service Technician
Location: Metro Atlanta, GA (up to 60-mile radius)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay: $35-$50

Job Summary
We are hiring a Senior Commercial HVAC Service Technician for a client in Metro Atlanta. This is a field service role covering a wide range of large commercial mechanical systems across multiple manufacturers. (not a maintenance or stationary building engineer position). The ideal candidate is a journeyman-level tech who thrives working independently in the field and can diagnose and service almost anything they encounter.
Responsibilities
- Independently diagnose and service a broad range of commercial HVAC and mechanical systems
- Service equipment ranging from small rooftop units (5-ton) up to large water-cooled chillers (up to 500-ton)
- Perform repairs, routine service, and component replacement across multiple manufacturers
- Dispatch directly from home to job sites throughout Metro Atlanta in a company-provided vehicle
- Manage daily work autonomously with minimal supervision
- Maintain a professional, customer-facing demeanor on all job sites
Must Haves
- Journeyman-level commercial HVAC experience
- Strong understanding of the refrigeration cycle
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and diagnose independently
- Experience servicing equipment from multiple manufacturers
- Hands-on experience with large rooftop units, chillers, and commercial mechanical systems
- Valid driver's license and ability to cover Metro Atlanta territory
- EPA 608 certification
Preferred Skills
- Experience with water-cooled chillers and large-tonnage equipment (250-ton+)
- Own standard hand tools (specialized equipment provided by client)
- Background with commercial mechanical contractors or commercial HVAC service companies
