Duties
- Lead and supervise housekeeping staff to ensure efficient cleaning, maintenance, and overall presentation of guest rooms, suites, and public spaces
- Develop work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor performance to meet quality standards and operational goals
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms and facilities to uphold cleanliness, safety, and hygiene protocols
- Train new team members on cleaning procedures, safety practices, and customer service expectations
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment; place orders as needed to maintain smooth operations
- Address guest requests or concerns promptly with professionalism and a positive attitude
- Enforce health and safety regulations consistently across the housekeeping department
Requirements
- Proven experience in housekeeping management within a hotel or hospitality environment
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care, industrial cleaning, and janitorial practices
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Familiarity with hospitality standards and guest service excellence
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and operating cleaning machinery
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail and time management
- Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with staff and other departments
